Pool Party ! Gabi's 9th Birthday

Summer birthdays mean pool parties, so it was time to give the jelly swimming pool cake a try.  It was most definitely the hardest cake of them all (so far), and took 2 days to complete !

BMX Bike Cake - Jonathon's 11th Birthday

Bit ambitious this year, and this one took 4 boxes of cake mix and a 3am finish to get it completed in time for Jonathon's 11th birthday party... but Jono was thrilled with it !

 

The guys didn't hang around for long - and nor did the cake.  They were off to the BMX track to get some air as soon as they scoffed it !

Mermaid cake - Gabi's 7th Birthday

New house with a pool, so of course it's a Pool Party !  And a Mermaid cake to celebrate....

Alien cake - Jonathon's 9th birthday

Jonathon had a great birthday party at Zone3 to celebrate his 9th birthday....

So and Alien birthday cake was the choice for this one !

Princess Castle - Gabi's 5th Birthday

Of course little princesses need a castle for their birthday... don't they ?

This was the start of using rolled icing and frosting... no turning back now...

Sydney Swans footy - Jonathon's 7th Birthday

Jonathon's 7th birthday party was a kayaking party, with and AFL theme !  Very eclectic !! At the time he was nuts for the Sydney Swans, and got the full kit for his birthday... so hence the AFL football birthday cake !

Fairy cake - Gabi's 3rd Birthday

And the photo isn't great, but a lot of love went into the fairy cake for my little Gabi ...
